What if I only want something short-term?
Say that on your profile. Stake shows what people are looking for, whether that is short-term, long-term, friends first, or figuring it out. The ending does not need to be decided before the first hello.
Is Stake a subscription?
Never. New accounts start with 100 credits. A Spark costs 20 credits and keeping a temporary match costs 50. Nothing renews every month.
What happens after 72 hours?
A new match disappears after three days unless one of you makes it permanent. The clock is there to create a decision, not another conversation that quietly dies.
Why only eight likes a day?
Because a like should land on something real. Pick the photo, prompt, or Duet that stopped you, then say why. Eight good openers beat a hundred empty swipes.
Is Stake private?
Stake is 18+, private by default, and lets you remove your profile or delete your account and attached data from inside the app.
